I really like the first badges you proposed and they would look great on your bike. I wanted to put them on my SB - but the parts guys here at OC HD - told me no way. My tank apparently is the wrong shape for them... in fact they said they would not fit any Dyna. Is this right or am I believing BS?

I have no idea what badges or who it is you're refering to... but I know for certain that these:
... 1959 replica red arrows fit my Dyna.
I've also seen a denium black Street Bob on here with the same badges as well.

The tank I am putting on is the same as a SB so we will see if I order if they fit. Those are still my first choice but waiting awhile before I order any. I dont usually believe anything a parts guy tells me though LOL
i think you'll like the carlini's. They are probably a diff position for you though..lot's of pullback i think.
I love em.. they were my 1st choice until I got the ones i have.
Also, i was actually starting to bend conduit and mock up my own bars when i came across them. I might still fart with some bars, but what I was going to make was similar to the ones i have.. just a little less pullback.
you ever consider a custom paint job instead of emblems?
Ya the pull back is why I went with the Carlini's. I like alot of pull back but also want my arms at a decent height.
More of a classic black guy than a custom paint guy. All my motorcyles have been black and 5 of my last 6 trucks have been black.
