I know there are alot of posts about seats, but here is another one.
I am looking for a solo seat (that I can put pillion with later).
Mostly I am looking for a comfortable all day seat.
I like a flat seat, atleast not contured like a bowl. I would like it to move me back if posible.
Usually it is my back that bothers me after a long all dayer, so if a removable back rest is available that would be evan better but not a deal breaker. This sounds strange but I don't really like the feel of a tall lip that is part of the seat behind me. With my stock seat I am always trying to scoot back but always end up sliding back forward.
Here is whatI have tried, spread out over the last 3 years. stock seat, corbin classic solo ( didn't like the contured bowl thing), and stock seat with gel and memory foam inserted (not much improvement over stock to me)
OPen to all suggestion.
Everything I've read and heard suggests Mustang Vintage Solo. When the dealership suggested it to me right after I bought the bike, I didn't consider since it wasn't leather. Since then I've heard nothing but good about the Mustang seats. That'll be my next purchase.
