when i did my bars i did not have the wire pushed in all the way
after i did that wha la i hope yours is as easy
did you use a wire extension kit? were ya in the duetch?
oh did i mention your new bars are SICK MON
Thanks! No wire extensions! Still have plenty of play even with these bars.

Again..looks sick. Thanks for the idle return explaination...I think mine is coming off now. Good luck with your wiring search. That is my biggest fear and why I still have stock bars. I REALLY want new bars but man.

put some new bars on mon,you can do it everyone on this forum will get ya through they gat me through and helped when i futched up

Ya I used the wire extensions on my 16's and realized I didn't need them after I put it all together I had way to much wire to stuff back into the frame.
Oh well.

Yea I fired it up for the first time since OCT for like 5 seconds just to make sure it starts. Its been great weather to get in some short rides. Sunny and 50s. We didn't get squat for snow this year.

I did the wiring a couple weeks ago. Just sanded down the powder for the grips to fit and put it all back together this weekend. I don't think of that stuff! I should have cause I just drank all by myself doing this!

Oh yea I forgot about the grips!! They are ebay knock offs of West Coast Choppers ($100 vs $200). From now on I'll be riding with gloves all the time because these mugs are sharp!

Well, I planned to order my bars. However, I don't think they will be easy to wire.
