Well, I planned to order my bars. However, I don't think they will be easy to wire.

... I most likely will be headed over to Missoula this next weekend.... Went up to the bike show Saturday... found out yesterday that the bike belonging to another of my riding buddies did well in the competition.

However, I like the bars you got and was going to do that route...but I really fell in LOVE with the RC bars I posted and also...why I haven't committed to doing the work.
I know it is just plain going to suck, but you might have a great point with the tire shine. I also think something sticky like grease might work well and if it is dielectric it wouldn't harm the coating.....hmm...

I routed my wires through my cables by tying a single strand of bow-string (~50lb /strand pull strength... small and waxed)... and taping off all the holes I didn't want the string to come out of, and blew the string through the bars with my air compressor, and then pulled the wiring through with the string...
