I just put them on my FXDX. Everyone says that this bike has the best shocks so I didn't want to put on cheap $200 progressives. I heard nothing but complaints on how bad they are on ride quality. The FXDX shocks are 13.5" though. I had over 29" seat heaight. I used the Tamarack 1.75" kit with no problems so far. I only have a few hundred miles on them. But the stance is much better now with no compromise in ride quality.Some say to lower the front too, But I did about 130 miles on the turnpike and parkway with no trailing or handling issues at all. Also I did not need to change my kick stand either.
Well with my bikes I always dropped the back end, with blocks and progressvie shocks. The blocks are good looking and easy to install, the only bad thing I will say about blocks, is that the last set I had on my bike; I was flying down the road and apparently a new dip popped up, I pulsed on the brakes went into the dip and when the back end kicked up and slammed back down I head a real bad metal bang. When I got home and saw the blocks had raised up and banged into the swing arm real hard. I check the torque on major parts once a week. I hadnt checked this week yet so I checked, the torque was still good on the mounting bolts, so I did away with the blocks. To many moving pieces on the swing arm for me. I personally like my progressive shocks. I have the 430s which lowered me around 2 inches, and dont bottom out solo or doubled. Probably just one bad experience I had, but it will never have the chance to happen again.
Gotta 2011 wide glide could I drop the rear and with these block and leave the front alone without any issues? Also with the install i read above some needed to cut the bolts I don't believe i would need to can anyone confirm this? Thanks!!
For what it's worth, my '96 Dresser has 2" lowering blocks with nothing done to the front end or jiffy stand. No problems 2-up or with the angle on the stand.

Exactly what I was thinking but I am curious if it effects the handling on the wide glides. Being the WG are raked more than the other dynas then lowering the rear would (I believe) increase the rake more would this make the handling junk? But I would only lower 1" being I go 2 up sometimes and don't want any chance of bottoming out.

I can chime in here, I had shorter shocks on my sporty and it bottomed quite a bit. I'm 220lbs and always ride solo. I'm going to finally try lowering blocks on my 93 FL.
I run them on my Bob. Bought for 30 bucks shipped off Ebay with hardware and powdercoated.
As said, blocks are blocks. As long as they are machined out of billet, the design is pretty much universal unless you buy them from bubba out of his van down the street....
As for the shorter shock comments..I almost did it. I decided to try the cheap block route first to see if I like the lowered ride/look before going expensive. I have decided to keep my blocks! As pointed out, the ride remains pretty much the same, you might have to turn up the preload a notch but I didn't.
I wish I would have bought another set, my father wants some like mine.
Did you also lower the front or did you just lower the rear with the blocks?
I put a set on my 2016 Lowrider, 1" drop for under $40 bucks, no rubbing so far. bought them off ebay and did nothing to the front, 90mph abd all still felt good.
