Im at a loss......i thought they were identical. Im missing something here. Im gonna call tomorrow and see what tooth mine was. That Sux!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yea. I'm finding out this Harley stuff is like my race car stuff. When your new to it everything is different. When you've been at it for awhile you know more. Just gonna have to keep going.
Odd... a few months ago I went to a 32 tooth up front and a 70 tooth on the rear. Stock belt aokay on my 09 Fat Bob.
The lower gearing makes a HUGE difference as the front tire loses interest in the pavement if the throttle is whacked open in first gear.... if on a surface with good traction... otherwise it spins the rear tire leaving a nice darkie.
My engine is nowhere near stock, however, I don't think stock it would have done any power wheelies.
It's geared a little too low so I'm gonna go back to the stock 30 tooth up front next week.

Perhaps you should rethink that idea? If you have a 32 now, and you think you are geared too low, changing to a 30 would make it even lower, as it will increase the ratio between the number of front and rear teeth.

My bad, got the tooth numbers turned around from stock to mod sprocket.
