The TTS and the SEPST are very similar in capability.
Bear in mind that the TTS requires you to strap a PC to your bike for the purpose of data recording. The SEPST uses a device called a VCI (about the size of a pack of cigarettes) to record about 45 minutes of data.
I'm not crazy about strapping my laptop to my bike, You might be ok with it but I'm not.
TTS Data is transferred over the antique serial interface, so you'll need a USB/Serial interface unless you have an antique laptop.
Wow... i'm so close to pulling the trigger on the SEPST. This is the info I've been looking for. Does the SEPST monitor engine temperatures, or oil pressure while recording the data?
Has anyone used the SEPST for engine diagnostics when having engine trouble?

I have ridden the bike with the VCI in record mode for the purpose of checking egine temp. You can play back the data afterward and see how it went. If you really want to you can strap a laptop on and monitor the data real time.
