Default Black piece fell out of my controls?!?!?!

Well I internally wired my handlebars yesterday and once everything was back together I noticed a black plastic piece on the ground. Rectangle, curved, circle hole in the middle. Its about 1/2 in long and 1/4 in wide. I know I have seen this piece before in some manual but i cant seem to remember exactly where it went. I am pretty sure it came out of one of the controls, prob right side. Can anyone help out right off the top of your head?

It's for yor throttle set screw. (poor man's cruise control) It goes between your throttle sleeve and the thumb screw.

It sounds like it is the piece that holds the brake swicth in the correct place. With out a picture of what you are talking about I can not be sure. With out that piece it is possible that you could damage the brake switch or it will not work.

If it looks like p/n 66 in this image Throttle control it's like Tailbreaker, 08fxdf43202 and ghostrider69 stated;

if it looks like p/n 70 in this image Handlebar switches it's like woodsy3232 stated.
