NEED ADVICE...Flywheel issue
I have a 2007 superglide with only 12000 miles. The oil pump went out and when that happened something also damaged the flywheel. i was told that the run-out was 20 which spec for hd is 12. I do not have the 2 grand to fix this problem. I need to know what will happen if i ride it...short distances. My school is 13 miles from my house and my bike gets a lot better gas than my suv....I really pissed this happened 2 months after my warranty went out so I have to pay for all the repairs.

The new 96" can have issues with the crank/flywheel. I'm guessing that the crank took your oil pump out, and not visa versa.
If your oil pump went out.... why would you even consider starting it, much less ride it?
All this damage was happening before your warranty was up... I would push the issue with the dealer and make sure the MoCo knows as well.

the only time that it was rode was to get it back home which was about a 3 mile distance from when the oil light came on it has moved since then and its been sitting at the mechanics house for the past 3 months.

That sucks stagnant pond water man.... so probably not 'too' much damage then. Again tho.... push the issue.
0.012 runout is BS. It is my opinion HD opened up the specs on the runout, to avoid a class action lawsuit.

Do not ride it! You will cause more damage. Get it fixed. Your mechanic wants $2k to fix it? Too bad you dont live near me!

Cheap fix= True and weld
Better fix= Get a SE or Jims wheel and have it welded
