I've got them as well... working just fine for me.
One of the things I like about them is how the left side is secured with the switch housing... no glue required and slipping/twisting ever.

IMHO you're not going to find a better grip material than the PM Renthal grips. I own the grips and footpegs and I think they are great!

PM Renthals. I know the Avons look almost identical, but they are different. I spoke to a rep at Avon and was told 1)they copied the PM style and 2)the rubber and feel is different.

I've never tried the Avons and they may be awesome, but they are not the same as the PM's which I have and know are great grips.

Good luck.

Have and love my Avon's. Buddy of mine has the PM's and they feel the same to me, actually, correct that the Avon's feel a little sticker and most likely, made with a softer compound of rubber to achieve this. This may also contribute to a higher wear factor, but they were only $55 bucks or so...

Don't think you can go wrong with either you decide to go with.

good post here... i just put on new bars and probably going with the HD nostalgic grips as they have that retro look. looks like a few have used them here and like them. i was also wondering about glue, but my question has been answered (08fxdf...)
