Take the heat shield (outer cover) off and slide the baffle in, line the screw hole up and insert screw in to baffle, reinstall heat shield and your done.
i used a hook cable and slide hammer KEEP YOUR BAFFLES! i WISH i still had mine. if you ever do a motor build in your bike they will be able to cut and shape the stock baffels to get a better tune! i had the BCT baffles and they laughed about being able to tune the bike with them
hey cheers guys
that was much easier than I expected.
the baffle and screw/bolt to hold it in had definitely fallen out somewhere which would have been a bitch if anybody was behind me at the time as thats a decent bit of steel.
took the heat shield off, slid the new baffle in and bolted it in place, put the heat shield back on and all is good.
now just need some decent weather this weekend to get out for a ride.
cheers
Mac
Be great if someone posted a pic of the BR baffles out so we could see what they're like...are they curved like the exhaust? How long are they ? Can you wrap them and insert them again ? Stuff like that y'know
