07 street bob
i have an 07 street bob with forward controls. the plug in the outer primary where the shifter used to be is leaking. the dealer gave me a sample tube of blue loctite. i popped it off, cleaned it up and re-applied the loctite. it is still leaking, i was wondering if anyone knows what to do

There is a small round gasket that goes between the inner and outer primary covers between the shifter tubes that has shifted or completely fallen out that is causing your leak. You could remove the plug and use RTV silicon on it and reinstall it and it should fix it. Or you could remove the outer primary cover and install a new gasket with RTV silicon on both sides of it and reinstall the outer primary cover.
