Agreed, took it out tonight with my wife and she loved. She says it's just enough to make her feel secure on the bike. I'm happy with it and the best part was when we got home I stripped it back down and put my solo seat back on in 5 minutes. No scratches or marks on the fender. The only hint that I can ride two-up is the passenger pegs.
Same here but now the GF rides her own. Still the best backrest in my eyes.
I have a tall boy for long rides for comfort, and this seat specs make me believe that it is pretty low to a 2up and was wondering does anyone have this set up and have any pics? Thanks!
I realize this is an old thread. I was just wondering how this product holds up for the long term? It looks like the right item for my 3 hours a year with two-up riding.

I ended up using it a couple times and then my wife got pregnant so that pretty much ended her riding with me for a while. It's a good piece if you don't ride 2-up very often. She really prefers a real sissy bar though with a bigger back rest for more support. When we eventually get the time to ride together more I'll probably look into something else.
I run one too... nice piece, course I kinda wish they had an option for a rack.
I run the Kury chrome backrest with a standard Wideglide Rack....Dont they make a similar type rack for the round fender (connects to seat hold down and then the strut ends)?
Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm in with this one.
Kury does make the plug-n-play but only in chrome. It seems the same or very similar but I need a black one. I think the Kury uses a standard backrest that attached to the base rather than being part of the base. It's a good looking item and allows different height backrests, but again, not in black.
