[quote=ryanek9freak;7782373]Yea, mids are ok, but I'm way too tall for them, makes it feel like I'm riding a dirt bike.
Hah, well I am 6ft tall and I removed forwards that someone else had installed prior to my owning it. I guess you cant teach an old dog new tricks, cuz I came from a MX background and rode sportbikes for 15 years. Mids took my bike from this sux to He11 Yeah! Well, that and some bigger wheels so I dont drag my primary everywhere in the corners. 18/21 combo straightened that right up.
I still havent been able to pick the right bars just yet, so I am currently runnin drags and 4 inch straight risers, but thinking some 8 Z bars would be just right.
Yea, the only thing I hate about forwards is you can't stand up on them.
I too, come from an MX background, and still ride quite often, but my legs are too long to ride a street bike like that for any length of time.
because it fell into my lap for less than 6 grand with 1500 miles on it?
DAYUM....now that is a smokin deal.
Actually, I like most of the HD lineup. But when I sat on my lowrider the seat & handlebar position and angle for some reason took all of the pressure off my lower back. My back actually cracked when I sat on it for the first time in the showroom. I looked at the salesman and said.."I'm done looking". I can literally ride this bike for hours and hours on end with little discomfort. Then I had the seat re-stuffed with miracle foam and now I can go 4-500 miles before my butt even feels it. So, I may end up keeping this bike for the duration of my life because I haven't found one that fits the same way.
Well , The guy rode this bike 2 k miles in 2 years, and when I went to buy it from him he came outside in a pink button up shirt with Flippy Floppies on..... Does that clarify who I was referring to? Out of all the posts on this thread and you quote 3 words from a post 6 months ago? Geez, man get a life troll. Only 30 posts and already stirring the pot. I bet you will last a long time here. Head on over to the General BS section if you wanna act a fool.

i recently put the mid pegs and mounts back on and ill tell you that using the mid pegs on the highway is way more comfy than my forwards....but i love the forwards at lower speeds...could be because im only 5'8"
