Just traded in my sportster custom but have picked me up a 2010 wide glide which I'm really chuffed with, lovely bike!
Only problem I find is the air filter with my right leg and makes it difficult to use the rear brake lever. Unless you've a banana shaped leg You can't control the brake.

I assume you all have the same problem??
I've had the same problem with my older WG. I assume you have a short inseam? Moving the controls rearward with adapter plates helped a bunch. I've heard of others who put larger pedals on.

This is what I did to fix that problem. I got a set of heel rests. They come with an extension part to make the heel rest work and it extends the pegs about an inch. My leg just barely touches the a/c now and all is good. The heel rests are comfy too. About $85 if I remember right. Then I took a dime and put it in the stop of the pegs to get the pegs to till up a bit so my feet don't feel like they are always trying to slip off. Can ride all day now without the tired crotch muscles---jack
