You can't squeeze a 5" into a 4" hole. Your '07 is a 4" speedo. Change the dash to a '08 and your Jake. PDF Link here to instruction sheet.
Pretty sure the connectors haven't changed since they went to the data buss.
The dealer doesn't change or add mileage. The factory does. When you order it they will ask what you want on it.

'08 FXDWG has the same dash as my '07. Wow I thought I had a 5" speedo all this time. Wonder why they say I need a 5" Diamond Ice Collection Gauge Trim Ring instead of the 4"?

well, it was worth the wait and nailbiting 
Here it is, proof positive of a working combo digital tach speedo working in a 2008 FXDF... The only hiccup was that the fuel light was staying on and the speedo said "range lo"... I tried killing the engine in the garage and restarting... nothing would change...
I had a half tank and though maybe a fillup would help? So I pulled out of the garage and about 2 miles down the road *poof* the light went out and the speedo has been FLAWLESS ever since!

Awesome... It looks good...Does the miles remaining work as well... .Now to order mine.
I just remembered that my LED fuel gauge had an extra wire that I had to use in order to get the low fuel light to go out. Without it the low fuel would stay on even when full. Wonder if that gauge will effect the low fuel light on this? I just checked the HD site and they do not even sell that LED gauge anymore... Looking at the other LED fuel gauges they only have three wires coming from it. Guess I might have to change that out as well.
