I don't like the look of the belt guards.. My scooter looks much better without it! Unless you plan on runnin **** over like a bull dosser or going off road. you dont need it. OFF with it!!!!!

I'll not argue that it looks cool as hell, but one day a small rock is going to find itself between the belt and pully and the resulting pain in the butt, or wallet, is going to hurt.

It kind of gives that orange county copper look but with a little belt. Chrome it and keep it.

I took mine off and loved the look... but then I chickened out after a month, and put it back on.

But if you get down there and really look at it, it's hard to see how it keeps any debris out... it's open on two sides anyway.

Makes me wonder if it's the lawyers, not the engineers, who made H-D put it on there...
