Oh man.. that's a lot of screwing around just to keep the stock muffs.... Why don't you sell them on here and get a set of SE ones? I think they're the same diameter plus they sound way better than stock? It so happens that I have a set of SE slip-ons I want to sell :-D Look in my gallery there should be some pix of them.

You don't have to tell me about the differnce in sounds. This ain't my first rodeo.
Pipes won't be anywhere close to stock sounding no matter what I end up doing.
I just happen to like the LOOKS of the stock pipes this go round after having tried dozens of others on different
bikes.
Unfortunately the muff shields don't fit SE slip ons. I did check that as an alternative.
