If you awitch your rotors and pads over to Lyndall you will get at least 30% more braking power, Apparently. I don't feel the need to spend that money cause I'm happy with my stocker braking system.

if you look at the police specials they usually have some upgraded parts. just like the police interceptor crown vics are slightly upgraded from stock.

No they are not. The CVPI is nothing more than a standard CV with a package of heavy duty parts all in one. the upgrades are available to anyone. The only non-stock items are in the wiring such as the interior lights being disabled, wiring in the truck for emergency equipment installs and the rear windows disabled among a few others. the drive train is stock although using all of the off the shelf severe service items.

For less than 20k FMC isn't going to do much to the car.

ok, upgraded with heavy duty parts. engine and drivetrain are stock and slow (i drive one at work). but a package of heavy duty parts = slightly upgraded, no? Larger alternator to power all the electricals, heavy duty oil and tranny cooler cause they know the car will be left to idle for long periods of time. Heavier sway bars. Heck, mine even has a factory strut tower brace. Sure all parts you can buy for your own CV if you wanted.
