Just bougt mine in April about 1 month before I left for Iraq. Put a little over 2,000 miles on her and can't wait to get home in a couple of weeks to throw my leg over the seat and ride! By the way I have a 30 inch inseam and no problem. I have ordered a reach deat the other day just to get me little bit closer and more passenger seat for the wife. So if you ask me pull the trigger and get a Fatbob you will not be dissapointed.

Just picked up my FB last month and I couldn't be happier. I put 830 miles on in the first week including a 230 mile trip from Ft. Benning to Savannah. It took roughly 4 hrs and when I got to Savannah I felt pretty good. I think the seat is very comfortable. A couple friends said that I would be making random stops to get the feeling back in my a$$, but I really didn't have the issue. At 6'2" I have no problems with the forward controls. I've ridden my buddy's Nightster with mids and I felt very cramped, but to each their own.

Without a doubt, the FB is a great bike and it seems like I'm not the only one to think so. I've read multiple reviews that have said its arguably one of the best handling Harleys on the road.

Just made the decision to upgrade from a very neat tricked out Iron 883 w/ 1,100 miles to a scarlet red Fat Bob. While I liked the 883- it was a great starter bike for me-, it did not fit me anywhere as well as the FXDF I took on a demo ride. And the smooth ride... no comparison. No other H-D bike seemed to fit as naturally or as comfortably for me either (5'10", 180 #) as this one - and I sat on all of them at the dealer. I plan to switch Vance & Hines big radius 2- into- 1 pipes when the bike arrives next week at the dealer. Bike is coming in from a dealer in another part of the state and hope to be up on it by Columbus day weekend. Photos to follow.

P.S. In talking with other Fat Bob owners, I never came across one who didn't rate it as one of the top bikes they ever had.

Very happy with the FXDF. I'm 5'8" and am totally comfortable with the forward controls. Stirrups are good for somewhere else to put your feet on longer trips. It's a great bike and a lot of fun in the twistys.

I am 5'9" and fit but its close on the forward controls. If anyone has put mids or some nice floorboard options I would appreciate a heads up. Other than a little reach on the controls I love the bike.

I had mine for a couple years now. I was given a coupon from the dealer to trade up. When I got there it was for only new bikes. Not used ones..... dealer told me why would I wanna trade in the best handling bike Harley has ever made? I didn't have an answer lol. i stayed with my Christine. love the bike. Only wish I had a better place to ride. Weather in the north east is not like other places. Somedays it sucks other times it is so so. Rarely do you get perfect riding weather for a week straight.

You won't be happier. I have an 09 with the factory mids. At 5'7' forward's are a little to far for me. From what I understand 2010 & 11 you can't get factory mids. Good luck.
