The heads are over kill in my opinion.You can get your stock heads done to just about any configuration.The cranks on the new bikes don't have the timken bearings,& many are not true from the factory.For a simple cam change you will be fine,but when you start wanting more power the crank needs to be addressed.Bigger injectors is probably going to depend on the head work & ci you go with.When the flow & ci is there ,I would go with bigger injectors.Same for the throttle body.Belt drive would be fine unless you like snatching throttle all the time with a big ci motor,or you doing some drag racing!!!

Gear drive cams require a trued crank(they are more precise with open & closing of the valves).Chain drive you don't!! if your shooting for 120hp at the rear wheel,your crank should be balanced,welded,trued & plugged!!!

As a general rule when I build engines I dont port the heads or replace them. If you are building to the limits of the engine IE balanced rotating assy,stroker,race fuel, then porting is a must along with high end valvetrain components. On my personal daily engines I usually just go for a mild choice of a cam,max compression on pump fuel pistons,with the biggest bore I can get away with on the cylinders.
This equates out to me as a 10.5,95 incher,with some decent Andrews CHAIN drive cams. Should end up in the mid 90s on HP and TQ for me. I have an 88 incher currently.
My point of this post is porting doesnt ever make or break a street engine.

If you're looking for someone to do the heads look up Meg-a-Flo up by new castle, pa, he's one of the top porters in the country, doesn't advertise but has a web site. You won't be sorry with Jim and he is very reasonable price wise!

i went with the woods tw6 new lifters stock se adj pushrods se pistons the new 2010 oil pump and plate dyno`d twice at 94 hp and 97 torque no where what you are looking for if you want 120hp you need to do head work and a wholelot of stuff, i am so impressed with my power i cannot imagine 120 now having said that i have a wideglide so my bike is lighter than yours, and also i like the reliablity anytime you start with all that power stuff you can throw away the will i get home crap
