Question Cam swap compatibility

My 99 FXDX has been diagnosed with terminal cam failure. The tensioners look ok so we're assuming a bearing or 2 is shot. We caught it before it wiped out anything major. My question is what year cam set ups will bolt in with no modification? I am looking at a massive rebuild next spring, (big bore, heads and cams),so I am trying to cheap out now just to be able to keep riding this fall. I have access to a complete cam set up from an 03 that was pulled @ 800 miles. The 03 was FI and mine is carb. Does that make a difference? I know how cheap it is to upgrade to the SE cam plate, I know how much stock replacement pieces are and yes I know how superior gear drives are. Thats not my question here. I just need to know what stock "take out" parts will bolt in for the interim. TIA
