Finally got around to snapping a few photos that were not taken under the street lamp ... I got the polyurethane bushings (Screamin Eagle) and torqued down the upper clamp bushings ... really feels good now ... am hanging on to the stock risers and chrome upper clamp I had before in case I feel like reverting (as I write this am thinking ... yeah ... that'll happen ... not) ....

In case anyone is interested in getting a look at them in the light ... see below:

I really like the dog bone risers. Looking into doing mine in brass though as my paint is a pearl gold white and the brass accents would like nice imo on the bike. Probably going to make some additional parts for the bike in brass as well. Pegs, exhaust tips and change a few bolts to brass as well. Just need to get the lathe up and running this winter so I will have something to do when the white stuff comes....

I think the brass ones look a lot cooler ... but, they are pretty spendy .... I paid ~$140, another $50 to shorten them 5/8" and $30 for the polyurethane bushings ... so, $220 all in ....

Some of those brass risers cost up to twice that or more (and you still have to buy the polyurethane bushings, maybe not the ones in the photo, though) ....

I really do think those 2" brass risers are sexy ...!
