Default Why no Dyna choppers???

Did I just miss them or are there ZERO long forked Dyna's on this site? No long Springers, no long Narrow Glides, no long Wide Glides....nothing. I seem to remember everyone and their brother addling extended fork tubes to every Superglide Shovelhead that rolled off the assembly line back in the 70's. Even I bought a short Springer when I wanted one. Are long choppers with shocks just an extinct fad of the past, or are they somewhere I just don't know about. I googled "Dyna Chopper" and found a few pictures, but not very much. Just thinking out loud I guess. I wonder if the Kingston Trio is still alive to rerecord "Where have all the Choppers gone".

I've seen one or two on here but that was about it, I rode a chopper when I was younger and it didn't handle too well, I don't think I would want to give up any handling for looks with these Idiots on cell phones/texting and all of the other distractions.

I think because of the cost difference most people so inclined would rather chop a Sportster these days.I used to ride a chopped Bonneville back in the day but wouldn't want one now.I never liked having to slow down that much for corners.

to me i got a dyna for handling, flat out... i still got access to chops when i want to rock one... but i am more into turning and ripping than strait line cruising... however, it is still awesome to rock a custom chop down the road

why destroy your handling with a whacked out long front end. Too many nuts out there to not ride the safest bike possible.

Yeah...me too but now it is the 10's and all of those guys are riding geezer glides or trikes... You might want to try to find them in the Ultra threads.

I've owned a couple all out rigid choppers and if you really like to ride and go far it's not the bike to ride.
