Best air intake
#41
There is a lot to smoothing out the flow and turbulence. Picking the right AC is dependent on the aesthetic appeal as well as where you want your power - for 99% of us Big-Twin riders we need power in the 2000-4500 RPM range. DK Custom spents hours on the dyno with multiple bikes, multiple hi-flo AC's before releasing their 636v - take a look at the attached dyno sheets. I'm sure Kevin at DK would more than happy to discuss with you.

The 587 and 425 are just about the same as far as performance goes. They will both flow more air than most bikes can eat.
The difference in the 636, is is not only flows that much air, but due to the design, it pushes the air into the intake faster.
If you would like you can give me a call here at the office, and figure out if you would rather switch or keep what you have.

I put the 587 on my fxdc. DK Customs was an all around awesome company to deal with, I am real happy with the intake. Install was simple took 40 minutes. It was the first mod I did to my bike and even with the stock pipes I could hear and feel a difference.
On a side note I had a slight issue after install and emailed DK Customs. Within a few hours I was on the phone with the owner and he went over everything with me. That kind of service says a lot about a company and they will always get my business. I also ordered their coil relocation and tank lift kit, both top notch.
