Torque wrench and Service Manual, both necessary tools if you want to do your own work. Actually, you'll probably need 2 torquers, a 1/4" drive that reads inch pounds and a 3/8" or 1/2" drive that reads in ft. lbs. Beam types are okay, more modern click models are accurate and not too expensive. You can go digital, but seems to me to be one more thing to go wrong or have the battery crap out at the one moment you need it.

The install went about as smooth as you could hope for. It took me about 45 minutes for the complete change-out and it lowered the a$$ by a good 1/2" I'll get some pics up by tomorrow, but it's time to get back out ther and ride some more. As for the ride, you notice the difference right away. The bike handles great and the mush is gone from the a$$ end. I am very happy about this upgrade and may have to do the front end as well.
