Will stock mid control shift lever work with forward controls

Default Will stock mid control shift lever work with forward controls
I purchased foreward controls from ebay and never received a shift lever. The seller said he never changed the lever when he converted back to mids. Before i get into the conversion i'd like to know for sure. What is the shifter difference and if i need one the part #.

I forgot to say that the bike is an 09 fxd

Ya I am using the same lever I had on my mids

I think my forwards came with a lever but I had a nicer slotted one on my mids I used.

Item #18 in the below link is the same part used for mid and forward controls.

Shift lever doesn't come in the kit, you use your original one:

2005 and earlier kit:

Thanks guys, I was worried I didn't get the whole kit but now I can go ahead and install. I appreciate the help.

I went from forward to mid mounts on mine and used the one that was on it, looked at the back of the lever and it was a HD item....

Mids to Forwards, Just moved the stock one up. Spline on kit is same as stock.
