Here's a vid showing how to mod a Sears Craftsman MC/ATV lift to fit a Dyna.
The guy never really says but you need to put one lift arm to the rear of oil pan protection flange on the right rear frame. After doing the mod, the other arm is now far enough forward to support the bike. It's not as secure as a J&S, but it works and you can find HF and SC all day on CL for cheap.
Sorry to re-post if you guys have seen this before. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8lanUaFQNE
Care to substantiate that?
Because I can substantiate arguing the other side of that.
If you find the thread detailing that mod, you'll find 8541Hog responded during the earthquake in D.C. He happened to have his bike on a modded craftsman jack without strapping it and the bike didn't move one inch.
This isn't even a contest. The J&S Jack is the best. I saved $50 a month for 8 months to buy my J&S Jack. It came last week and it is easy to use and my Super Glide is rock solid on the jack. Worth every penny.
I went out and got a Bikers Choice jack (same as the Torin they sell at Northern Tool). Found it on CL for $45, went to the hardware store and got some 5.5 in. grade 8 bolts washers and nuts $10. Put it all together and it works sweet!! It fits behind the oil pan flange and in front of the kick stand with about .25 in. to spare on each side. When it's jacked up it's very solid. I wouldn't go jumping up and down on it, but for $55...
Hey, What do you think about 2 ton Low Profile/Long Reach Steel Heavy Duty Floor Jack with Rapid Pump? I am thinking to buy this HF model. I am not finding any reason to not buy. Any kind suggestion about this floor jack will be appreciated.
Update: Thank you everyone for good suggestion. Although, J&S jack price is little bit high. Actually, it is higher than my expectation(More than 400 bucks). But, I am looking for the best floor jack. Thus, quality matter and will place order very soon.

Edit: Disregard. Thought you were talking about the table lift.
I've read throughout this forum that a lot of people like them and they have held up. I don't own one. Only issue I've read about is wheel/tire removals require an additional jack of some sort.
They also weigh around 260lbs, I was looking at HFs catalog today...
While there are many extremely viable choices that will adequately lift a Dyna, since the title of this thread is "What's best floor jack for Dynas," I think J&S is pretty much the definitive answer. There are lots of less expensive choices, there are options that take up less room, there are more portable solutions, there are plenty of things that work okay, but unless there is some bizarrely sell kept secret out there, I think the original question could have been answered with a single response.
All I read is the title of the thread. The J&S jack is what you seek for Dyna. Best bike tool I ever bought, period.

The J&S IS that good; you'll take my J&S from my cold dead hands!
J+S HANDS DOWN WINNER.
I bought mine for my Dyna, then I upgraded to a Road King. Just look at the videos on their website. Its no joke.
You can run the bike through all the gears, and effortlessly move it around the garage. You do not have to even think about straps.
BTW... I have a used one for sale with drip pan if anyone wants to save some cash.
