Forward Control question regarding shifter spline
Hey everyone,
I am new to the forum, my name is Tim. I live in upsatate NY, unfortunately with all this snow! I ride an 09 DYNA Super Glide.
I have a question for anyone that may have this same issue.
I recently installed forward controls on my bike, and like everyone else, I have the issue of the remaining shifter spline sticking out of the primary cover. I have seen that Kuryakyn sells the shifter spline cover which i plan on ordering. My question is, is there also a part made to secure the original mid mount lever in place? Like something that will attach it to one of the case bolts to prevent it from moving around and possibly getting stuck somewhere it shouldnt and preventing me from shifting.
I have temporarily pushed it behind one of the case bolts, but was just wondering if anyone knows of anything out there for this.
