Matching Denim Black paint
I have been looking around at rear fenders to change out mine with, but not finding any in the denim so far. I have read in a few threads that you cant match the color(but these threads were yrs old) Any idea if this has changed and I can easily match the color?

Have you though about powder coating your tank and fender w/ the denim flake? I just got my lowers done and I have a deep scratch on my tank, so I was thinking of doing the denim poder for the tank, front & rear fender. The lowers are spot on to the denim factory paint on my bike.

What makes the denim is the clear coat and how much they put on. My painter told me to bring him my old fender and he cam match the new one. Its not like your trying to match two thing that are right beside each other .Like a door and a fender on a car.

Thanks for the help guys. Guess I got some decisions/research to look into. But getting ready to get down the road for awhile

Your going to think Kim insane but I just recently sold a denim black front fender but also had another one I had BBQ painted black just so I didn't have a black with silver pen stripe on my back, the BBQ fender sitting next to the denim black fender were almost identical, a very subtle difference but virtually a match, I had the BBQ fender on my bike for six months and it held up great, I would definitely use it ina front and wouldn't be opposed to using it on a spare rear. I have a denim rear at the welders right now getting it shaved, when I get it back ill post a pic in the sun and will show you my findings. Lol
