I am looking to get a set of slip on's for my 2010 street bob. Looking for better performance and of course that harley sound. Having a hard time deciding what to get. Any advice is appreciated.
I ran the Rush 1.75 slip-ons for a while and liked them, now they are sitting in the attic with my stock cans. They had a much better sound than stock, but no real performance gain.
If you looking for performance save yourself some money and just go straight to a good 2:1 full exhaust, high flow AC, and an EFI tuner, even if you have to save up a while. This way you will have some real performance gain up front and be better positioned to start into engine mods down the road.

I concur! Good things come to those who wait!
But if I had to choose, it would be the V&H Straight Shots
Im thinking of a set of black slip ons. What would you recomend Rush or the Bub Rinehart, I see advertised at a closeout price? Don't mean to hijack post just seemed close to same question.
I first tried the V&H, they were OK but expensive and I wasn't crazy about them. So on the advice of a good buddy I threw a set of Cycle Shacks slash cuts. The bike runs and sounds much better. Not to mention they were $140.
Do yourself a favor and save your money get a full exhaust. It will run, look, and sound 10 times better. Even if you buy slip-ons now, you will end up buying a full exhaust later anyway. If you end up buying slip-ons, check out D&D's. I had a set of slash cut and they sounded great and had good performance. I just took them off to put on a full exhaust. Something I should have done from the beginning.
I'll have cycle shack slip on's for sale in a few day's 1,000 miles on them pm me if anyone interested going to full exhaust, If you're doing slip ons cycle shacks are the way to go for states with pipe laws it's real easy to go back n forth with slip on's
