Fork bag users beware
I had to use some washers, but just use those bolts to hold in place.
Make sure that you don't have the bag yup against your forks and you will not get scuff marks.
My brother has had his on for a several years withno problems.
Also make sure it is high enough to not hit the fender, but even if it would touch, the bag can compress some.
It's just a welded shed hinge...i mounted it and tilted it to the angle I wanted and then welded it in place.
It is sturdy and no ties to come undone or scuff away at your forks.
Or...... Buy a high dollar fancy *** show bike you can keep in your garage to impress eveyone. Or........... Ride what you have and enjoy the hell out of it while you can. If you ride it you are gonna get it wet, have road chit ding the paint, get black marks on the pipes when your boots hit them, oh yeah gonna get them dirty too and remember that all those dings and scrapes came from you enjoying the hell out of yourself, beats the chit outta what others have If you want an investment get an IRA or some stocks and bonds. If you want some cherished memories ride the bike, It will probably outlast you. Course, what do I know?
