I am installing HD forward controls in about 2 weeks time on my 09 FXDL.
I going to leave the gear shifter in the primary for a while just incase I want to go back to mids. This might be a dump question but anyway, install another short rod from thr gear shifter to the forward control. The only think I can think of is friction when shifting and making or finding something so two rods can join on the gear shift lever. What I mean is take the gear lever shifter of the spline and cap nad leave everything else but add a short rod to the forward controls. Might look busy.
