Default WTF stuck.

Sorry to bother everyone but I am stuck. So I am changing out the housings for my controls and I don't know how to get the throttle and idle cables out of the old housings? The manual says to pull on the ends... Does this mean I pull out those ***** on the end.. then replace with a new one? can someone who is smarter than me give me advice please. Thanks.

The metal tube part of the of the cables snaps into the control housing, pull on the tubes while holding the control housing and they will pop out.

yup, just rock it back and forth and they will eventually pull free. a little oil or cable lube may help!

One other thing to watch for it the brake light switch on the right housing. If you don't watch out you can break the switch when you put the housings back together.

+1. Be careful extracting the tubes as they have a small metal ring that keeps them in place once seated.
