Did he take the reflectors off his bike? That could be why his is faster.
And in addition to reflectors the factory plate catches air like a parachute... next thing someone will tell him about the high speed extremely low draghttp://hogrida.com/default.aspx lay down plate....
mine is so fast after that I am afraid to to remove the HTSA sticker off the frame tube.....
Just funning with you, but seriously the plate is a visual drag and Hog Rida lay down mount is probably one of the best mods I made to my bike....
Congrats on the new ride... Enjoy it!!!

Reason: spelling...
what's that bucket doing next to the bike? For crying out loud ride the thing you poser!
Hey.. Hey... Cut him some slack.... It isn't a blacked out bob... It's a SUPERGLIDE Chrome( I mean Custom....) It needs some wash, shine, and polish.... That is like a pilots doing preflight walk around on his jet to ensure it ready to take to the skies....
I think some may have happened on to the problem. With that bucket in the picture I am thinking maybe the bike is retaining water. Your ride is kind of like a woman that retains water, they move a little slower and become much more cranky. Not sure, but this maybe the root cause of the problem.

BTW- I am digging it!!! Ride on!!!
I always thought it was fun to watch pilots do a walk around at -40 degrees.
You have large feet? Since you're running forward controls, possibly your feet are acting like flaps on an airplane and slowing you down. Point your toes or go to mids.
