Default New fatboy headlight install
Finally got around to installing the Fatboy headlight I bought on E-Bay. I wasn’t sure how much of a problem it was going to be to swap out the wires, but it turned out to be no problem at all. Once you figure out how the stock wires are held in place in the bulb socket, you can pop them out of the socket with a small screwdriver or flat piece of metal. Pull the wires out of the stock headlight one at a time, install the new headlight, then put the wires back through the newly installed headlight the same way. Snap the wires back into the stock bulb socket and you’re ready to go. I put a xenon bulb in to throw some more light on the road. Turned out to be a pretty easy mod.

Looks great. Wish I would have thought of that before I installed the Cobra head light.

Might even change over to the Fat Boy light.

Is it pretty much a direct bolt on?

I looked at the change but was kind of a cyclopes look. IMO.

The light bolts on directly to the stock location, there was no clearance problem. I used the mounting hardware that came with the light. Took about 25 min to install.
