That fairing looks great on there and the headlight light really fills it out great. Can't wait to see it finished.

well got after it last night... my brother came by and we got to work mounting up the fairing and figuring out the spacing we needed... took some trial and error and we must have put the fairing on 100x's and removed the brackets 200xs to make adjustments... but so goes life.... this is going to be awesome!!! i look barely over the top... going to order another clear shield just in case (the one i have is smoke)
but here are some pics

figuring out the spacing off the lamp

shot from the inside you can see it barely clears my risers

using stock quick release clamps (2 will be replaced with locking clamps and yes stainless bolts will be used not the stock ones)

used fender washers and plastic spacer to figure out the spacing... now we can machine a filler plate and weld that to the main bracker for support

after rebending, cutting, grinding, and sanding the support brackets

mounted

you can see my lamp really fills that cove

inside will be a kenwood 3.5 video screen, full range polk 6x9, massive NX2 amp, i pod dock station with video link, blue tooth for cell, GPS, and a ciggy lighter (3.5 polk 2 ways going in the bag lids)

what it looks like with someone behind the bars...

Hey Joe,
Which Batwing from Reckless did you go with?

That thing is going to rock, you'll be able to do some good touring and jam out at the same time!!! You should flush mount some LED turn sigs.
