thank i am just hoping that the clamps will support the weight... these are monster 6x9, head unit and amp... can get pretty heavy i am only worried about that so far
cool ill make templates of everything i have to machine and cut for people on here... they are the flush mount LED guages... got them on ebay for 60 bucks! hahaha off a dif bike but heated them up in the oven to 350 for 25 min then re molded them to my tank... worked out pretty well

You have to heat up the guages???? Also what part number is that? I have found some on but they say road king. I assume it would work on a street bob tank.

speaker bays ground out and drilled and mounted for mock up and wiring... grills will be shot in gloss black of course with the rest of the paint work
Sears repair man is coming out to put in a new pump in my air compressor so i can use the air tools to open up the head unit bay... then i can complete the wiring and mock up, tear down and start paint... then move on to the saddle bag speakrs

I know exactly what you mean. That's what's held me back from adding an amp to mine. Everytime I hit a big bump I cringe.
my buddy is a machinist... he is coming to look the whole set up over before i strip down for paint and powder... if he has any sugestions or we make anything up i ll make 2 so you have one... how solid does it feel wiht the clamps?
