Installed Pcv with AT retrofit for my 08 fat bob without a problem, ran it for about 12 miles on the ride home last night and it seemed to run good. Took it out for a ride today and a bit into the ride it started bogging when I tried to pass a car then progressed to run rough at lower rpm's and pretty much all throttle positions. I kept the settings that it was sent with and haven't trimmed any maps with the autotuner. Seems that once the bike warms up it will start progressively running poor until almost all throttle openings will bog. I ordered the unit last week from fuel moto and received it in the mail Friday.
This is my first time having anything to do with a tuner, so my knowledge about this stuff is limited.
Hi Canuckle,
If your sure all the cables and connectors are ok I would just double check the Throttle position sensor calibration is ok when the bike is warm.
Theres a how to in the FAQ on Powercommander.com.
Hope this helps,
Jeff

Thanks for the reply, already did the throttle calibration and even tried turning the autotuner off and letting the Pcv have full control with the map that was sent from fuel moto. Got maybe a little bit better than it was before the AT was off while also not getting quite as hot.
Were you riding in wet weather at all or wash the bike? Just a thought, had probs with mine before, the main PCV connector is prone to getting moisture in it depending on how you have oriented.

Thanks for the response.
When it's hooked up to the laptop I get what seems to be proper numbers in all the right places, I don't get any error messages. The bike just runs like crap.
I just went through the moisture thing yesterday. Got caught in the rain Thursday, and then washed the bike on Friday. Went out Saturday and got stranded. Good thing my riding buddy carries a tool kit. Took the pcv off and ran fine. But man was there some water in it going to reinstall it with a little dielectric grease and maybe wrap it in plastic or use some silicone around to to see if it helps that prob
It was moisture in a connector for me as well. Curse the quick morning hose down!! I didn't think that was the problem for me because all the readings I was getting on the laptop with it hooked up to the Pcv seemed fine, so I didn't think there was water causing the problem in a connector, I was thinking that water would show some wonky readings. After trying a few things to no avail, I figured might as well open the connector up.....water poured out as soon as it opened. Left it open for a day to make sure it dried out good. Put it back together and now have done a few trims along with a long ride yesterday and the bike is running great. I as well will be putting some dielectric grease on the connectors along with putting some on any other connector I am able to get at. Thanks for the help.
