Default PCV issues?

Hey guys I installed my PCV with the download from the place where i bought it. I've had it on my bike for about a month and havent had any issues untill this morning. The bike acted as if it was cutting off and i had to keep it throttled and pulled over. Now i knew what the issue was b/c I ran it to the same type of symptom with a V&H fuel pack that was bad and had to send it back and just recieved the replacement for it. So i pulled the PCV off and ran the bike back to the ECM with no module back to the house. Ran great, seeing how I have my O2 sensors bypassed for the PCV. When I got to the house I plug the PCV into the laptop and found there were no issues. So hooked everything back up on the bike and plug the PCV into the Laptop and started the bike up. The damn thing started up and ran good, only issue now is the back popping of the exhuast when I throttled it. Does anyone know what could be happening here? V&H fuel pack went bad, now the PCV started to act as if it was going bad then I took it off and plug it up and now it idles good just a lot of back popping after throttle.

Any help would be great.

I can hear a slight knock, or ping now. Kinda like the sound you hear when the bike is cut off and cooling down. Is this normal?

You might've bent a pin in the main connector to the ECM. Check to make sure they are all straight. Also, inspect for water inside the connector. Apply some dielectric grease to the inside areas of the connector if you have any.

Next, look at the map from within the PC software. In the Fuel Adj. tables (2) what do you see in the 0% column? If you see 0 or negative numbers, add 5 to the value in each cell of the 0% column, send the map to the PCV, then take a ride. Do this until the decel popping disappears. If there's no change by the time you get to about 15, put the values back where they were, as the problem probably originates somewhere else. Also, describe the "back popping" you hear. Is the throttle all the way to 0% at that time, and at what RPM does it occur.

the popping starts between 4-5k rpms on the down throttle going to 0%. Havent checked the 0 values yet. I do keep my bike inside a cycleshell, so Im thinking that moister is the issue. Since putting the PCV on I've only ridden maybe 100 miles if that, and it ran out well. started right up this morning and I got about 2.5 miles down the street and lost RPMs and it started to act if one cylinder didnt want to fire. Like I said I took it off and damn if she didnt ride great. Weird, 2 tuners and both with issues? Is there a download on the Power commander site that people are using for this setup: 2009 street glide:
~Stage 1 A/C
~Rinehart Extreme true duals
thats all i've done to the bike.
Do I need to worry about the ping that I hear at idle?

ok so i put 5 the 0% area. that did take the popping when i rolled off of the throttle. and i didnt hear the ping that i was hearing before. I also put some delectric grease on the connectors. I'll give it a good hour ride in the morning. What does adding 5 down that row do? any thoughts on why it was acting the way it was, the PCV?

Nevermind that didnt work. I found that if I moved the tuner around that my RPMs would start to jump, so I had to wiggle the connection and found that the tuner part that connects to the bike and not to the ECM was somehow loose? or wasnt making a good connection until i squeezed them together. I still have decel popping and a light ping, and I have the 0 column set to all 5's. Any advice on the decel popping, do I just keep adding 5 to the column, will that help with the ping? I dont know what could have happened, ran great last time I would about 2 weeks ago.

It's hard to diagnose in this manner, but it sounds like an installation problem. Does your seller have any tech support? I don't think you should do more changes to the tables until you're sure the tuner is installed properly. Did you check the pins for any that were bent?

I may be in the minority but, mine started throwing codes and running poorly after about 18 months. I removed it and had the ecm flashed at the dealership and have been happy ever since.

In my particular case, the bike would not idle. I attempted to make contact with the manufactuer and the seller but, the phone was always busy. I would have like to had it tested. I finally just threw the darn thing on the work bench and forgot about it.

took her out for a ride this morning and so far so good. I will be changing the 0% row from all 5's back to 0 though. I'm thinking that it was a poor connection from the bike to the PCV plug.
