So if HD did nothing this thread would be all about "the same old tired lineup...blah...blah...blah".

HD introduces a bigger engine, a new bike, more standard features and its all about "they should have done this or that...blah...blah...blah".

Ever woonder why HD doesnt listen or care what their customers think?

They are the halfmoons though. they usually have the otherr style but since I don't see them on there, it means they are not in stock:

Also as far as the original post, the front forks are cartridge stile forks which even though they are only 41mm they should be superior to the 49mm damping rod forks.
I did't say what the FL stands for< I just stated that all models with floor boards are FL's. OK?

However, as you pointed out:

Superglide $12,999.00
Good Bags $600.00
Good Shield $300.00
Tour Seat $350.00
Total $14,249.00

Add in a 103 kit and labor you might come in $1k less than the Switchback. So really, for $1k you are getting the whole design and color matched bags in a nice package and all removable.
You also have new beefier forks, larger headlamp, floorboards and a 2 into 1 exhaust added on. Also, I would guess that the $600 for the hard bags doesn't include color matching, but I could be wrong.

I am sure that if you were to attempt installing all of the stuff on a Super Glide that this comes with and were able to sale all you removed parts. you would come close to if not spend a little more to get a 96" Super Glide to become a 103" touring bike.

Looking at the kit and comparing it with the JC Whitney ones, the mounts look identical.
