What's the FXDXT? Did you mean the FXDS-CONV Dyna Convertible?

I really don't understand the price point (gouge). Super Glide Custom is still $12,999 (black) with all the aforementioned chrome. The new Dyna is $15,999 (black), $16,400 (color).

I will say the new red is stunning, they got the red right this year, but where exactly is the $3000 difference ? Looks ? lol. Ok, bags & windshield I guess... :-o Everything else is a trade at the factory and you can't tell me the front end and fenders are that much more expensive.
Thats all true and the motors are built in mexico and all the parts are made in china and japan yada yada yada. I think its a damn shame what has happened to american maufacturing.
But you know if you don`t like buy an old harley or buy something else.
Me i like em and will continue to buy em at least its an american company i guess. LOL

One thing I have yet to see anyone bring up is the fact the Fuel tank is smaller.

Fuel capacity is only 4.7 Gallons. And now with the EFI, there is not a Reserve, just a Low Fuel Light.
The Touring models have a 6 Gallon Fuel tank.
Looks like this is not a long distance touring bike. Just another Bar Hopper.
I`ve rode sportsters with 2 gal. tank from ohio to bike week thats a pretty long barhop

It's amazing people got by touring for so long without cruise control, 6 gallon tanks and MP3 players. By today's standards few pre-rubber mount bikes qualify as a "touring" bike I guess
