No, you're not an ****. But I will say that playing the distraction card as a way to legitimize your problem with using GPS devices is lame and misleading.

Glancing at a GPS takes less concentration than having a conversation with the wife on back of your scoot; less than a lot of stuff and certainly less than text messaging or making a phone call.

lol look at your last post. "drastically important"....... See what I mean? This is really getting funny now.

Damn dude, you sure took this personally to go to all the trouble of looking up his past threads.

I for one agree with Vic, and I say that as someone who loves his technology, it's my business, and someone who has built custom mount systems for my stuff. However after a few trips with GPS mounted, it became clear to me that it was not needed.

I have GPS in my smartphone and I am never in such a hurry I cannot stop the bike and figure it out if need be.

As for the wife talking to me when riding...damn, I don't want to talk to anyone when moving, she can talk to me when we are stopped, I enjoy the ride too much to have to carry on a conversation, and we have hand signals if it is important that we stop and talk.

I say get rid of the crap and clutter and learn to enjoy the beauty of the ride, if you want all the bells and whistles, take the cage.

I ran into a problem this past sat while trying ti find the trail of tears in waterloo,al. When I'd stop to look at my phone gps. When not moving the gps don't know which way is which and it's impossible to figure out which way this or that hiway is in relation to your location....gotta get me a mount for my gps! Took me about am hour longer to find it because of the gps orientation problem.

I find mounting my phone in my pocket, or saddlebag works out perfect. The pocket mount is free. Thousands and thousands of trouble-free miles.
Most folks who choose to mount their SmartPhone like this plan to use it as a GPS. I use my IPhone that way. You dont have to look at a GPS to use it...the only reason it needs to be mounted is for GPS signal reception. I dunno about most guys, but I don't know how to get everywhere I want to go, and stopping to read a map is a PIA. Good to hear your mounting method works so well

Ohhh wait a minute you were being sarcastic
