Question Fork gaiter where to buy

Now I think I need some black fork gaiters, where to buy? Can you slide them on without taking the shocks off the tree? Thx!

Don't get the ones that are split, take your time and just slide the forks down. Do not remove the metal dust cover on your fork sliders, they are made to slip onto them.

I got mine at J&P. Made for Custom Chrome. They are made to fit the 49mm forks.

Thanks! That's what I ordered and JPcycles is where I ordered from lol.
Did you say leave the top metal cover? Someone said take that off so the rubber sits better, am I missing something?

The gaiter has a rib that fits the groove in the dust cover. So leave the dust cover in place.

Leave them on, they are designed to work with the tin dust covers. They will not sit right without them.

Default eBay

Bought these on ebay for $25. Tough, high quality rubber. They fit my FatBob perfectly.

I ordered the Jammer boots for 49mm part# 632800 and they fit right down over the metal dust cover. Ziptide them at the top. Actually I just ordered them through the local harley dealer from custom chrome and picked them up there.

The ones off e-bay deteriorate. I put them on my Bob and in less than two years they split at the outside seams. Now I have 15 seperate little pieces!
