I had my buddy from the dealer run my vin# for recall info, as i bought the bike used... only thing thats been done was a battery caddy bolt? And the major trans bearing?
Can someone tell me what the trans recall means? What was done? And does this mean that the 06 IPB issues have taken care of?
I have a 07 stator rotor ready to go in but need the updated stator to take care of the P.O.S stator rotor B.S....

Why not have your buddy at the dealer explain it to you.
There was a re-call on the '06 Dyna for displaying a false neutral indcator light that was corrected by replacing the shifter drum in the tranny, had it done to mine about a month after I bought it. It shut down sales 'till they were corrected. Although it must have been a pritty big deal...I never experienced any problems with it. It took them a day to swap them out. Plus there is an on-going problem with the Inner Primary Bearing. There's plenty of info on that here on the HDForums. Just search "Inner Primary Bearing" in the Dyna section.
Hope this helps you out.
Best wishes..Tim (HT)

Www.recalls.gov is the goverment's official site for recall data. You will be amazed at how many recalls there are. Worth checking all of your vehicles on this site to see if there are any pending recalls you need to get taken care of.
