I had the sandard 18"(I think) quick detach HD windshield on my Sporty, but when I bought my new Dyna I wanted a neater look while still getting the protection of a windshield. I decided on the HD Super Sport windshield, which comes in either 16" or 19". I chose the 19". The SS windshield does not have all the bracing, so it looks much cleaner. I'll have to say, it has no buffeting and is better than the standard 18" with the cross bracing in both looks and function. I ride with a windshield year around...winter for obvious reasons, warm weather because I've caught too many bees, grasshoppers, etc in the head. Caught a rock to the forhead once too...I don't ride without it.
