I got the bag installed finally. With mine being a stock height I only had to drop it by about 3/4".
The belt guard bolts are pretty soft and I'm not happy about that. Torque spec is 25-35 ft/lbs... i got to 23 ft/lbs and it rounded out. I was using a Mac Tools torx bit so I know it wasnt due to cheap tools haha oh well.
Im going to test putting my rain gear in it tonight

Man their product page makes the bag so pretty...mounted so straight...looking so lined up...#sniffle
I started a thread over at"House of Harley Davidson" Facebook page, but remembered this thread.
The image (quoted) appears to show the metal loop in the foot peg bracket provided with the bag might need to be cut, is that right?
Also, the D shaped leather slot where the metal loop in the foot pet bracket, does that have to be trimmed too?
Would it be a huge bother to ask you to post a picture of the back of the bag, and the bracket you ended up with?
