Have one in distressed brown. Gotta remove the LH Passenger peg and the rear belt guard bolt. Goes on pretty easy, but not a whole ot of storage. I carry fuel additive, rag, multi tool, etc. That's about all she'll take.
pthavet,
thanks for the write up and pictures! You bike looks great by the way! I'm diggin the bag, but i'm still bent about the H-D wesite pictures of the bag installed. It shows the bag mounted much lower on the bike (see the gap between the top of the bag and the ignition/electronics cover). Every picture I've seen of an "actual mount", the bag is up above the bottom of the electronics cover?
Regardless ...I like this bag and will probably get one for the SGC. However, I will have to mod it to fit like the H-D picture. I'm thinking I cut a slit in the top of that pocket so the bag will drop down lower ...like in the H-D picture.
Way too small IMO. I'll just order a BAD&G solo bag. The HD bag looks a lot better, but hell...if I'm going to put a bag on my bike it's got to be functional. Otherwise, what's the point. I need something that will at least hold a sack lunch and a hat.
