Just a quick question for the guru's on here regarding a 2010+ Street Bob tail light/turn signal setups. I am going to be going with a filled in custom painted 06 Dyna fender on my 2010 Street Bob. I noticed that when I apply the brake that the turn signals light up with the rear brake light. So since I am going to be elimating my rear tail light I am wanting to use my rear turn signals as brake lights. So if I remove the tail lamp setup do I need to purchase and install a run, brake, and turn module or does my bike already have that? I am assuming it already does but want to be 100% certain.
I would assume it does but you could always disconnect your rear til light to check if the turn signals still work as brake lights
I would try that out but my bike is at my painter at the moment so I figured I would ask to find out a def. answer. I assume they will work just fine as well without the brake light, as does the newer Wide Glide models but I don't like to assume anything.
I'm going to be doing the same thing to my street bob. When I remove the taillight does anything have to be done with the wires for the taillight or do they just need to be caped off?
Works like a dream, here is a picture of my 2006 Street Bob in it's current configuration. No tail light on fender, using turns as run, turn, brake.
That's what I was thinking about doing to mine. Removing the big *** light, and going with a plate mount like you got there. Been looking for a pic of this setup. Got anymore by chance? Thanks!
