Just got back from having my bike tuned with the TTS and all I can say is wow! I didn't tune it race it, it is plenty fast for me. I tuned it because I just felt it could be smoother. Now the bike takes off from a start much smoother, when I'm just cruising I don't feel that slight surge that has always been there, and when I gun it it really moves out. Worth every penny and what they say is true...You never know what a well tuned bike runs like until you get it done.
I am running a stock motor, no cams, just vance and hines 2-1 propipe and a big sucker filter.
Not bad numbers either:
79.62 horsepower and torque 91.54

I thought having a tuner kind of negated having a dyno tune done? Not very experienced on this topic. I have a Doebeck tuner with V&H pipes, would I benefit from a dyno tune? I do not plan on doing any engine mods at all, I got rid of the sport bike because I did want to slow down, but I wish my HD was a little more responsive.
I'm not familiar with your tuner...but some used canned maps, some try and tune themselves. Each bike is different, and for me if I was going to spend money on the tuner I was going to have it dialed in by a well know dyno tuner. I didn't want to dick around with it and get it close...I wanted it right on.
Any pics of the bike with the new pipe? Did you ever vtune it yourself since you had the tts? I have the tts and when i had it dyno tuned from the dealer bike didnt feel that good. Even the 2nd time he tweaked it still just wasent right. The numbers i got was 80hp and 89t. Since then i made about 10 vtune runs. I felt it getting better and better each run. At some point i stopped and have been running ever since. I will tell you it feels much stronger than what the dealer did. As well as it runs cooler and smoother. Glad you found a good tuner.
I decided not to mess with it since I had a tuner with a very good reputation close by. I wouldn't have even bought the tuner until I found him and talked to him. I was very cautios about spending that kind of money without getting it spot on.
More then the power was the driveabililty for me. I wanted it to be smooth from the start and smooth just cruising. I'm very happy and I'm done with the motor. Any faster for me and I'll get into trouble.
I'll get pics up soon. Don't want to shoot one in the garage, it's a mess.
My dealer also talked me into the TTS. He said he is very proficient with setting it up. I believed him. Gave him a shot and 300 plus bucks later, he failed to deliver. WHen i first got it back from him the parade mode was comming on all the time in the summer. Bike was running hot. I went back to him 3 times before i said i will tune it myself. With alot of help from the guys in the tech section here, like lonewolf and mr wizard. Awesome help.
